Chaise Recliner

Relaxing in the living room will be irresistible if one owns a chaise recliner. They are similar to easy chairs but the main difference is the foot rest is uninterrupted from the seat. There is no gap for between the foot rest and the cushion, creating a lounge when in the reclined position.

A chaise recliner makes a cozy addition to the living room, especially in front of a toasty fire. Recliners are also great for nurseries- giving Mom a place to rest while she feeds and soothes baby. They also work great in bedrooms, adding a sitting area for reading.

Make sure the chaise recliner was made with quality materials and has a sturdy frame. Because the foot rest can be raised and lowered it is a good idea to periodically add lubrication to the hinges underneath to prevent a squeaky chair. Microfiber is also a good suggestion because it cleans easily.
